About:
Joy is a visual storyteller with a passion for creating illustrative narrative moments and unique character designs.
She is also a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist with a specialty in creating unique works to further client interests. Skills in illustration, graphic design, visual development/concept, and sequential art combines to create unique client and personal work. Dual degrees in visual communications and fine arts allow her to design both hand rendered or digitally designed logos, marketing materials, album cover art, and various illustrations including children's books. Her love of illustration and visual storytelling led her to pursue her Master's of Fine Arts in Illustration at SCAD, and she continues to illustrate magical fantasy scenes.
Accomplishments:
Joy is an accomplished artist, illustrator and designer. Some of her accomplishments include being a featured artist on the RedBubble homepage, being promoted by actors and actresses such as John Stamos, Zooey Deschanel, Kylie McNeill, Cathy Ang, and Adam McArthur for her illustration work on Instagram and Twitter, doing collaborations with Kung Fu Tea USA, Goldfish, and Sketchmarkers, having her work reposted on the official MerMay 2020 instagram page, being featured by Dreamworks Animation on their official instagram page, working on movies such as "Miracle Comeback: The Story of Brandon G" for the logo and title treatment, being a published studio and cover artist in the "Cedarville Review," having her prints in local art shows, and more.
